Privacy information for Linker enquiries

Last updated: 29 August 2026

This page explains what Linker processes when you use the website or enquiry form, why the information is needed, which service providers process it and how long it is kept.

What Linker collects

When you submit the enquiry form, Linker collects:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your business name, if you choose to provide it.
  • The tools involved, if you choose to provide them.
  • Your description of the manual workflow.
  • A submission identifier used to prevent duplicate email delivery.

Cloudflare, Vercel and related delivery systems may also process technical request information, such as an IP address, browser information and security-check results, to protect and operate the form.

Do not submit passwords, access keys, payment information or sensitive client information through the form.

How Linker uses your information

Linker uses the information to:

  • Assess and reply to your enquiry.
  • Arrange a workflow chat where appropriate.
  • Prevent spam, duplicate delivery and misuse of the form.
  • Diagnose a delivery problem if your enquiry does not send correctly.

Submitting the form does not add you to a marketing list. Linker does not sell or rent enquiry information.

Website analytics and performance

Linker uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand which pages are useful and how the website performs. Vercel may process the route or page URL, referrer, browser, device type, operating system, approximate country, network speed and Web Vitals. Vercel describes these measurements as anonymised and does not use analytics cookies for this service.

Linker also records non-identifying events for workflow-chat button clicks, form starts, successful submissions and submission error categories. Names, email addresses, form answers, security tokens and submission identifiers are not sent as custom analytics event properties.

Where the information is processed

The form uses several service providers:

  • Vercel hosts the website and processes the request that submits the form. It also provides Web Analytics, Speed Insights and the request-rate limit.
  • Cloudflare provides the Turnstile security check used to distinguish genuine submissions from automated abuse.
  • Resend sends the enquiry to Linker's receiving email address.
  • The receiving mail provider stores the delivered enquiry in Linker's mailbox.

Linker does not store a separate copy of the enquiry in an application database. A delivered copy remains in the receiving mailbox. These providers may process information outside New Zealand according to their own service and privacy terms.

When information may be shared

Enquiry information is shared with the service providers listed above only as needed to operate, secure and deliver the form. Linker may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the website, Linker or another person from misuse or harm.

How long Linker keeps an enquiry

If the enquiry does not become client work, Linker deletes it within 12 months of the last contact. If the enquiry becomes client work, relevant information is kept under the client-record policy that applies to that engagement.

Security and delivery providers may retain technical records for periods set by their own policies and service settings.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask Linker for access to the personal information held about your enquiry, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted where appropriate. Email info@linker.co.nz with enough detail to identify the enquiry. Linker may need to confirm your identity before acting on the request.
